About

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint — it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff."
- The Doctor.

T.J. Blackburn is an Atlanta blogger, writer and social media addict. This blog is an exploration of his various interests as well as his subjective observations on pop and geek cultures and a digitally-mediated world.

A multi-passionate seeker of knowledge, T.J. has a particular love for innovative storytelling and compelling narratives, especially about human interactions and about the historical context and cultural implications of current events.

He is an occasional contributor to various Metro Atlanta Patches and a dabbler into wizardry through Courtland Communications, a student-ran PR agency at Georgia State University where he is a pursuing my B.A. in journalism. Currently, he leverages the intersections of social good and digital media on behalf of Fulton County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), an Atlanta-based non-profit dedicated to providing representation in juvenile court for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.

He is also a co-founder of Zero Edition Press, an experimental self-publishing co-operative. On his spare time, he experiments with Twitter and Instagram fiction, explores Georgia's historical and natural attractions with his wife Brooke and eats lots of sushi.

T.J.'s first collections of poetry, movements and measures, is now available as an e-Book published by Zero Edition Press and distributed by Smashwords.com.
